We score every SEO agency on five weighted criteria. Scores are editorial — the considered assessment of our editors, not user-submitted ratings.

How a score is calculated
Each criterion is rated from 0 to 10. We multiply each rating by its weight and sum the results to produce a weighted overall score out of 10. The same formula applies to every agency, including the one we own.
What we use as evidence
- Published case studies and documented outcomes.
- Public service descriptions, pricing signals, and positioning.
- Reporting practices and transparency with clients.
- Market reputation from primary, verifiable sources.

Our editorial score vs. third-party Clutch ratings
Two different numbers can appear on an agency page, and we keep them separate. Our editorial score is a 0–10 figure we assign using the five weighted criteria above; it is our opinion, not a user rating. The Clutch rating is a separate star rating out of 5, submitted by that agency's own clients on the third-party platform Clutch. We display Clutch figures as clearly attributed context so readers can weigh client sentiment alongside our assessment. We never present Clutch ratings as our own, and we never encode them as this site's structured-data rating.
Editorial independence
SEO Agency Reviews is an independent publisher. We are not owned by, or affiliated with, any agency we review, and we do not accept payment from agencies in exchange for higher scores or better rankings. Every agency is scored on the same criteria. Read more in our about page.
Limitations
Editorial scores reflect our judgment at the time of writing. Agencies change. Factual details such as founding year and location come from public company sources and may be out of date. We welcome corrections at [email protected].
